Indexing PDF files in SharePoint

One important step that is often overlooked as a part of a SharePoint implementation is making PDF files available for indexing.  It is a bit of a process, but in the end, you will not only be able to search for content contained in PDF files, but you will also have a little PDF logo to help differentiate between PDF files and other files!  It’s the little things 🙂
